Layer 1

Solana

About Portfolio

Solana (SOL) is the native token of the Solana blockchain, a high-performance Layer 1 network designed for scalability, low latency, and low transaction costs. Solana achieves high throughput using its unique Proof of History (PoH) mechanism combined with Proof of Stake (PoS), enabling parallel processing of transactions across a single global state.

Governance & Token Utility

The SOL token is used to pay for network fees, execute smart contracts, and secure the network through staking. Validators and delegators earn rewards in SOL, and the token plays a key role in network governance and economic incentives.
